Terms & Conditions for Quote Request

1. Quote Basis and Verification

1.1 All quotes issued by My Treasurer are prepared based on the information provided by the client through our online form or consultation.
1.2 The quote is indicative only and subject to verification. My Treasurer reserves the right to amend the quote if the information provided is incomplete, incorrect, or changes during the engagement.
1.3 By proceeding, the client acknowledges that they have supplied accurate and complete information to the best of their knowledge.

2. No Automatic Engagement

2.1 Submission of a quote request or receipt of a quote does not constitute a binding agreement or engagement.
2.2 A formal engagement will commence only upon mutual agreement, usually confirmed through a signed engagement letter or written email confirmation.

3. Scope of Services and Adjustments

3.1 The quote outlines the estimated scope of services based on the information available.
3.2 If the scope of work expands (e.g., due to additional accounts, entities, compliance issues, or unanticipated workload), My Treasurer will inform the client and provide an updated quote before proceeding.
3.3 All services are subject to Australian accounting, bookkeeping, and tax compliance requirements, including ATO and TPB regulations.

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1 The client agrees to provide all relevant documents, records, and responses in a timely and accurate manner.
4.2 Delays in providing requested information may impact turnaround times or result in additional fees.
4.3 The client remains responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the financial data supplied, even if My Treasurer assists in preparation.

5. Fees and Payment

5.1 Fees may be charged on a monthly or annual basis as indicated in the quote.
5.2 Payment terms will be outlined in the engagement confirmation. Invoices must be paid in full by the due date.
5.3 Late payments may incur interest or suspension of services.

6. Confidentiality and Data Handling

6.1 All client information is treated as strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or explicitly authorised by the client.
6.2 My Treasurer adheres to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and complies with Australian privacy and data protection laws.

7. Professional Standards and Conduct

7.1 My Treasurer is committed to upholding professional standards in accordance with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 and the Code of Professional Conduct under the TPB.
7.2 We will not knowingly participate in or facilitate conduct that is unlawful, unethical, or contrary to ATO guidelines.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 While all reasonable care is taken in preparing your accounts or tax returns, My Treasurer accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on the quote or advice provided prior to formal engagement.
8.2 Liability is limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation.
